Recent headlines in London

Earlier this afternoon, I read online and heard about the bomb blast in London. Some of you may know that I currently reside in Nottingham, which is a couple hundred miles away from London. One of the bomb blast was near the major train station known as King Cross station ( yes its one of the stations in Monopoly too ). It's a good thing that my housemate and his friend came back late last night instead of taking the this morning's way out. Even though they were tired, but thank God that God guided them by taking the late exit out of London.
I cant imagine what would the horror be if my housemate (BS) and his friend were to be involved in this mess. BS is having his graduation today too.
My parents SMSed me, worrying about me, that I could be in London and get caught up in the blast. Fortunately, I did not have any business in London / study in London too. I sympathize those who lost their loved ones and also those who got caught up in these "terror attacks". At these times, there will be a bunch of people reminiscing bout the Sept 11 terror attack and ask questioningly towards God; "Why did God allow this to happen?". The answer thus will be a silent one.
With lil reference to this slightly-off-issue, while pondering on whether someone I know have died/injured in London, those of you may remember the recent high-scale-devastation the tsunami in south east asia. On one of those days, when the list of people who perished in one of the Malaysian's newspaper known as TheStar, I happen to notice a name of a friend who got involved. My heart fell and I was saddened by this. It was a feeling of losing a friend, though not that close but still it's sad. Fortunately it wasn't him as the name was missing a letter. And further I saw him on MSN, talked to him and yes he was alright.
I will sleep for now, as my housemate's graduation is early tomorrow morning.
