Racism issues are worse in the UK than in back home.Alrighty back home, the issues get as far as taxi drivers charging foreigners more money than the usual "price". Same goes for some "businessmen" and of course they refer to a couple of hawkers etc etc.
In the UK, racism issues boil down from the parents right down to the child itself. We all know that most of the time, children mimic whatever their parents do and their "role model" from a young age is usually their parents.
So at a very young age.....let's say 9-10 years old, they start abusing anyone who looks different to them. So let's start with an example:
A young eleven year old boy approaches a friend (let's call him/her E ) and I.
Boy: Err excuse me, can I have 1 pound to call my mom ?
E: why dont you use my handphone?
Boy: Err I want to use the payphone...
E: handphone is faster and easier.
Boy: never mind then. I just realise that I have something to do
So what do we learn here, young boys learn how to cheat at a young age. ( they do this "trick" to mainly asians ) Reason: they cant do it to the locals coz the locals have done the deeds before / know bout how they are doing it.
Example 2:
There is this place called Radford, where all the baddies live ("shady area"). So lets call this friend of mine, T. So T was walking down a street one day. This 12 year old threw a stone at T. Of course it hit him. Then T just glared at the boy.
T: why did you do that?
boy: you stupid chink. you come and live here and you should go back home. get out of my country.
T looks puzzled.
boy: you wait there....i'm gonna get my friends so we can spit at you.
Of course T didnt bother to wait. See...racism again.
Example 3:
I used to stay in this place known as B Flats. (name ommitted)...usually some of the evenings, these young kids of course ages 10-12 would throw tiny stones (pebbles mind you) at your window. They will state: "If you want us to stop throwing stones. Pay us 5 pounds."
Example 4:
Christmas. These fellas will come and sing carols outside your door whether you want or not. If you dont pay them an amount usually something less than 5 pounds, they will start throwing stones.......not pebbles this time. Not that large too but yeah stones.
From example 3 and 4: Extortion and con-jobs at a young age.
The only benefit this gives them is that they mature at a young age.....mostly 16 years old. And this is a lower figure compared to most back home...
