Yesterday (friday), I went for the 'usual' Friday night 'social'. It was a time with God, in the chapel down in Portland Building. I saw a lot of new people but majority aren't old. Most probably due to the preparations for the Malaysian Night which is on stage tonight. The bible study was on the principles of bible interpretation, which was quite challenging as different people has different views. These different views occur majorly (through my years long observation) because each one grew up in a different environment/background and are affected by different factors. Anyway, key principles of bible interpretation: 1. The context is paramount 2. Interpret scripture by scripture 3. Look for Jesus 4. Look for the primary, implied and extended meaning of the text 5. There are no contradictions 6. Dont let your systematic theology allow you to ignore the plain meaning of the text. 7. Dont lt a single verse be the basis for a theology or belief. 8. Bariatric Surgey

Today is my bariatric surgery - where I take a leap of faith to change my fats into muscle.. Hopefully like the one depicted in the illustration below:- In any case, I will be going to do what is known as a Sleeve Gastrectonomy. But why?? WHY - I have metabolic syndrome and also an apple shape body and thus using this procedure, I would be able to live a healthier lifestyle and lower risk of etc etc diseases. So - what is Sleeve Gastrectonomy? According to Bariatric Malaysia - the stomach is transformed from a bag-shaped organ into a sleeve. By reducing the size of the stomach by 80%-90%, doctors are surgically limiting the amount of food that fits in your stomach…thereby drastically cutting down the intake of calories. Reminiscing the past...ish

I was just reading through my bro's blog .....and one of the comments in that lil chatbox in the far right corner was "two sides of a coin". Which of course brings me back to the memory of a not-so-distant past. I once had a tuition teacher , Mr.Chan and a group of us were studying the topic known as "probability". To those who studied in A-levels in Malaysia, it's the one in module S1 under statistics. Anyway back to the main topic, as you all know there are two sides of a coin andthe probability getting 1 side is 50% or in fraction wise 1/2 (half). Then the probability of getting your guess right the next successive times increases by a multiplication of 1/2. So ...... Mr.Chan: The probability of getting your first guess on which side of the coin right is 1/2.
