Today was my group's presentation day. We basically designed and manufactured from scratch a pneumatic tool to cut tough materials. All 6 groups left the Nottingham uni and headed off to the Rolls Royce facility in Derby.
After our presentation, 4 groups left to see some facilities, while the 2 unlucky groups has to stay behind and get a guided tour in the technology center due to the disappearance of a coach to go to another facility.
At the end of the day, my group: group 6 (International Aerospace Cadets) won uniamously(however you spell it) the most innovative engineering award. Unfortunately our tool wasnt finished yet or else we would have grabbed the best design award.
